The purpose of this research is to determine the body of arts activities and strategies that best enhance students' learning in the language arts classroom and the types of supportive practices by teachers and school administration officials that make interdisciplinary arts education successful. If the results of the study yield a body of arts applications that do improve students' academic achievement, then more schools could incorporate these applications into the language arts curriculum thus facilitating students' successful academic achievement with a comprehensive education.Subjects--Topical Terms:
