The ancient ones were very aware of the interdependence of all life forms and the interrelationship of all the awesome workings in nature. The web of life, and the links between the cosmos and the Earth, were not natural phenomena to be studied, but the very fabric of the culture. Ancestral art, from every corner of the globe, resounds with a common affinity and identity with the great outdoors.
