The COVID-19 pandemic has had, and continues to have, lasting economic and human impact on the museum industry of the United States. With the pandemic still raging through 2021, the full depth of these impacts is not yet known. However, technological solutions and emergency measures have been implemented to combat some negative effects seen in the museum industry so far, despite the cost on the workforce.
