This study aims to trace the development of the course of the Hian rhyme in Taiwanese rarely mentioned in previous studies. There are two research questions. Firstly, what is the current situation of Hian rhyme in Taiwan? Secondly, what is the tendency for the variation of Hian rhyme? It indicated the variety of [ɛn] in use has increased across generations, this tendency can observe on those whose Taiwanese are close to General Taiwanese. Four factors were to illustrate the development of Hian rhyme in Taiwan via General Taiwanese: social media, demographic composition in the region, national language movement policy. With these social backgrounds, we suggest the issue of Hian rhyme is truly a case study of social dialect.

520 $a 本文〈軒〉韻議題是[iɛn] kah [ɛn]兩个語音變體競爭e過程；目前本議題e觀察e是斷節--e、零星--e。因此，本文對〈軒〉韻e觀察，有兩个研究問題：(1)〈軒〉韻語音變異e現狀按怎？(2)〈軒〉韻e語音變異，未來e發展趨勢如何？語料結果顯示：就世代e角度來看，[ɛn] e勢力lu來lu大；見若樣本口音透濫接近普通腔e時，〈軒〉韻e語音表現tio會出現流失介音e趨勢。這个現象，本文用戰後媒體e傳播、地區社會組成、國語政策等三个因素來說明。因為〈軒〉韻韻有kai厚e社會性，所以會當講〈軒〉韻議題是一款社會方言e個案。.
