The most common reason for adults to engage in educational activities is to resolve problems. The demands experienced in the work environment create an abundant source of problems for the SBMs. The SBMs acquire the knowledge that they need by utilizing a variety of strategies. They include self-directed learning projects, and use of educational service providers.
