This study investigates the skills or constructs of good problem solvers. Members of the Ivy Tech State College Computer Information Systems Advisory Committee provided problem-solving constructs during one-on-one interviews. The study is an analysis of Ivy Tech State College Computer Information Systems Faculty and Ivy Tech Computer Information Systems Advisory Committee problem-solving constructs. The interview technique for this study is Personal Construct Theory. The constructs became part of Repertory Grids and the study participants rated constructs. This study uses a mixed methodology. The researcher utilized qualitative techniques for data collection and quantitative methods for the final analysis of the interview results. The results of the study show significant differences in the understanding of problem solving skills between Ivy Tech State College CIS faculty and the Ivy Tech Computer Information Systems Advisory Committee.Subjects--Topical Terms:
