The research objective focuses on the process and outcome of identifying the program content for a graduate business and technology management curriculum that is meaningful to the constituencies, which for the purpose of this effort involves the consideration of students, employers, academic institutions, and accreditation agencies.

The process includes the development of a theoretical framework model and a criterion standard which are used to perform a series of normative evaluations. The evaluations compare and contrast an MBA program with specialization in Technology Management to other high quality programs, to determine differences in missions, curriculum content, and structure.

In the final phase of the research, a connoisseurship evaluation is conducted using the outcome of the previous activities to determine if indeed, the program would meet the needs of today's practicing professionals.
