This study investigated the frequency of milk and soft drinks selected and consumed by adolescent soccer players between the ages of 13 and 17. This study examined links among age, gender, and media exposure on milk and soft drink consumption among adolescent soccer players (<italic> N</italic> = 51). Gillespie's model (1981) formed the theoretical framework. A researcher-developed questionnaire was used to gather the data. The results showed no significant differences in milk or soft drink consumption between adolescent male and female soccer players, nor were significant differences found with increasing age. This study did find significant differences for perceived media influence upon milk (<italic>p</italic> < .001) and soft drink consumption (<italic>p</italic> = .014). Research currently published pertaining to milk and soft drink consumption among adolescents was not supported by this study.
