A qualitative case study of the Anishinabe in the Great Lakes area of Turtle Island (North America) creating an understanding of accessing and preserving the oral tradition of their culture utilizing Information and Computer Technology (ICT). The eleven people interviewed for this case study are students, faculty, and staff, administration, and community members of a tribal college. The oral tradition of the Anishinabe is still practiced in the community studied. Turtle Shell Tribal College, a pseudonym for the site studied, has modem ICT connectivity and computer labs on their campus. The voices of the eleven people interviewed are presented in regards to their Anishinabe culture and ICT.
