In this Case Study, I conduct a case study using a combination of formative and summative program evaluation of the new teacher evaluation process adopted by the Two Lakes Central School District for the 2012-13 school year. Using the Danielson Model of teacher evaluation as the theoretical foundation, I assess the perception of cultural change emerging as a result of the new evaluation system as compared with the one in place for the 2011-12 school year; and strive to answer my primary research question: How did teachers' approach to teaching change, if at all, as a result of the new teacher evaluation system implemented by the Two Lakes Central School District in 2012-2013? What was the influence on the professional culture of teachers and leaders as a result of this change?.

By using data collected from surveys and focus groups interviews of teachers, supported by data collected through participant observation I determine the perceptions and cultural change, if any, as a result of the implementation of the new evaluation system. I anticipate that this inquiry will provide the basis for future research on this topic.
