Thesis (M.Arch.)--State University of New York at Buffalo, 2006.
I propose an architecture that satisfies a series of domestic conditions. It will be a critique on the manner in which residential architecture is designed. It will bridge technology and architectural program. The site for this exploration is the dining room of my apartment. My design intervention will question what possibilities can exist in an architecture where program is "Liquid ". Technological advances can enable architecture to be responsive, adaptive, and address issues of domesticity. The technologies I propose to research are systems theory, virtual reality, and projection in order to gain an understanding of their potential in architecture.

The expected outcome will be a discourse on "Liquid" domesticity. I will gain an understanding of the changes of post World War II domestic life, and challenge the notions of current practices of architecture. The result will be a design intervention, accompanied by a bound book, as well as video conveying the ideas and terminology contained herein. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)
