The sample composed of 200 Iranian-non-immigrants (99 women, 101 men) and 200 Iranian-Immigrants (101 women, 99 men). As predicted, the results of the current study indicate that older adult Iranian immigrants reported more depressive symptoms than younger immigrants. Contrary to the expectation, immigrant men and highly educated immigrants reported less symptomatology than Iranian women immigrants and immigrants with low level of education. No significant marital differences were found for any psychological problems among Iranian immigrants.
