There is a continuing need for the development of guides and teaching tools that incorporate the use of Human Factors design principles. Designers, as learners, will benefit by interacting with systems that combine current theory with practical application.

Research is not always enough. To supplement traditional methods such as interviews and Semantic Differential Testing (SDT), this author created a mock company and incorporated it directly into the thesis as a corporate branding template to further test the Human Factors theories. The company's name is KOAN.
