The purpose of this study was to present, analyze, and evaluate the relationship between learning satisfaction of students in industrial vocational high schools in Taiwan by looking at five factors: courses, equipment, teaching, internship, and classmate-interaction. A sample of 500 graduating students was selected from 10 randomly chosen industrial vocational high schools in Taiwan. The study addressed the following questions: (1) Are students satisfied with courses based on: (a) school type, (b) school session, (c) gender, or (d) age? (2) Are students satisfied with equipment based on: (a) school type, (b) school session, (c) gender, or (d) age? (3) Are students satisfied with teaching based on: (a) school type, (b) school session, (c) gender, or (d) age? (4) Are students satisfied with internship based on: (a) school type, (b) school session, (c) gender, or (d) age? (5) Are students satisfied with classmate-interaction based on: (a) school type, (b) school session, (c) gender, or (d) age?

The design of this study was a questionnaire consisting of demographic information and 25 primary questions respectively to the five factors. A five-point Likert-type scale was used to distinguish respondents, attitudes to their learning satisfaction. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. T-test and ANOVA were utilized to determine the differences of data.

The result of the study indicated that significant differences existed in the relationship between learning satisfaction of students in industrial vocational high schools in Taiwan and the five factors. One of the factors, classmate-interaction, indicated that there were a significant amount of differences based on school type, school session, gender, or age.

The study recommended further research including: (a) classmate-interaction, (b) a comparison of students, achievement and satisfaction, (d) an evaluation of teachers, teaching, (e) an analysis of students, learning satisfaction in different fields, and (f) an investigation of satisfaction of human resource in the employment after graduation.
