Professional sports have been the nucleus of the entertainment industry for years. With varying sporting fields, the "sport" as a market has provided increased diversity for its fans. An example of this is evident in the growth of Major League Baseball. Since the late 1800s, this sport has been a primary area of sport event participation. However, as time passed, so has the variety of sport organizations, leagues, and teams available for the sports fans to participate in.

520 $a The primary purpose of this study was to determine the fan base of the Georgia Force, during its inaugural season. More specifically, the study attempted to investigate limited demographics and psychographics of the fans at the Georgia Force Arena Football League team final home game. There was a set of research questions that were developed to obtain a quantifiable outcome in relationship to the fans at the game. The survey instrument for this study was a questionnaire that was validated by a panel of experts. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)
