It especially analyses the strengths, weaknesses, and threats facing both the Chinese enterprise and new western entrants, and the significant implications of China's accession into the World Trade Organization. The current mechanism and various aspects of China's ICT sectorare investigated, along with the opportunities and challenges facing global and local firms in this market. The primary aim of this book is to map out China's industrial structure and dynamics in the context of globalization; it is a must read for any decision maker in the ICT sector, both in the West and in China.
