Thesis (D.B.A.)--Nova Southeastern University, 2000.
This study examines the foreign market entry mode performance of U.S. information and communications technology firms. The firms examined have entered a select set of Southeast Asian markets during a period of 1985-1995 using one of four market entry modes: joint venture, licensing, greenfield or acquisition. The eclectic theory of international production (Dunning, 1998) was used as a base theory for developing the argument that mode selection does have an impact on subsidiary performance.
