The purpose of the investigation was to design an elementary physical education activities instructional manual for preschool through third grades. The content for the physical education activities instructional manual was secured from elementary physical education textbooks, handouts from professional workshops, and files from university physical education methodology courses. The following six categories were utilized to present 84 instructional activities: perceptual motor skills, fundamental movement skills, manipulative skills, rhythmic activities, stunts and tumbling, and games. While some activities included in this manual were traditional, others were innovative activities. The activities for the manual were chosen based on the following characteristics: entertainment value, readily available equipment, fitness components, implementation, and active engagement in physical activity for all students. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution and percentages.
