The Sims 4 (2014) is the latest game of the best-selling PC game franchise of all time, The Sims. The game allows for a great deal of customization including modified files created by players which are often shared online. This thesis explores how the game and customizations affect how the game can be played and interpreted, with emphasis on African-American identity and intersectional feminism.
