This study investigated the effects of two versions of revised Task Enjoyment Motivation Protocols (TEMP) on the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based providers' completeness of client files, ranking and rating of the least preferred file completion tasks, and time spent compiling documents for insurance files in preparation of an audit. Six ABA-based providers who accept funding from insurance companies to provide ABA to individuals with autism participated. Results indicated that all six ABA-based providers demonstrated an increase in the percentage of completeness of their client files. In addition, all six participants showed changes in how they ranked and rated their preference for file completion tasks. Further, they reported more time spent compiling documents to complete their files in preparation for an insurance audit. For this study, TEMP has been demonstrated to be effective at increasing the time and the number of completed work tasks associated with the preparation for a behavior analytic insurance audit.
