This demonstration of professional competence discusses the impact of eCommerce and delivery on cities through an analysis of existing literature, interviews with subject matter experts, and precedent analyses. This paper focuses on three main components: land use and development, transportation and road safety, and urban design and placemaking. Through the lens of these focus areas, this paper provides recommendations for cities to serve better the various stakeholders affected by the place-based challenges of eCommerce and delivery in these times.
