The purpose of this quantitative predictive correlational study was to determine if, or to what extent, there was a predictive relationship between church attendance modality, age, gender, and spiritual well-being among non-denominational Christian church congregants in the United States. This study used two theoretical foundations, the uses and gratifications theory and the self-determination theory. This study collected data from adults, via Survey Monkey, with participants completing the Spiritual Well-Being Scale. The research questions, controlling for age and gender, questioned whether church modality predicted spiritual well-being, does age predict spiritual well-being, and does gender predict spiritual well-being. The final total number of participants in this study was (N = 131). Each RQ pertains to one predictor variable. On the regression coefficient Table, unstandardized B coefficients show the weights of each significant predictor, reflect that variable's specific unit measure, and cannot be compared directly to other unstandardized B coefficients. The significance of the unstandardized B coefficient reflected the corresponding research question. In contrast, Beta coefficients are standardized to allow the relative contribution of significant predictors to be compared directly. R square values of .127 suggest that the model predicts 12.7% of the variation in spiritual well-being. The results show congregants who attended church in person scored significantly higher on the spiritual well-being scale; additionally, men scored significantly higher than women and that significantly higher spiritual well-being was unrelated to age.
