This study provided new information regarding the Quality of Life (QoL) and satisfaction of Filipino citizens among the urban homeless population in Quezon City, Philippines within the phenomenon of homelessness in this cultural context. Previous research has explored poverty, food insecurity and hunger, and other socioeconomic disparities people face in the Philippines and found that these factors often coincide with homelessness and housing instability (Morley, 2019; Phillip, 2020; Tuano & Cruz, 2019). This study contributes to efforts to close the gap in literature relative to the lack of information relative to a quantitative appraisal of QoL satisfaction within this population and by providing and analysis and discussion of the factors that individuals in this demographic reported to have contributed to their present situation. In-country partner, the Vincentian Foundation, a service provider working with unhoused individuals in Quezon City, Philippines facilitated access to participants and made this study possible. To examine homelessness within in the context of individual appraisals of QoL, quantitative data was collected through questionaries coded and then analyzed. Due to a sample size with little demographic diversity among participant responses, neither direct impact of QoL on satisfaction or sociodemographic control measure yielded significant results. As analyzed, these results were discussed in terms of methodology, and participant demographics can still be used to promote additional advocacy and the prioritization of intervention to address homelessness.
