The book is a collection of essays written by scholars/activists who are continuously concerned about the Fukushima catastrophe. The book offers a critique of nuclear energy and calls for collective action for social justice and ecological justice. Sit Tsui is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Rural Revitalization Strategy, Southwest University, Chongqing, China. She is also a Founding Member of Global University for Sustainability. Lau Kin Chi is an Adjunct Associate Professor in cultural studies, and the coordinator of the Programme on Cultures of Sustainability, Centre for Cultural Research and Development, Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China.
