This work seeks to prove the Olivet Discourse and the Book of Revelation is prophecy concerning two different events in time. The meaning of "son of man coming on clouds", being supposed as a promise of a second coming, forms the basis of two Eschatological systems, Dispensationalism and Full Preterism. In both systems, the two texts are combined as similar context based on the belief that the Olivet found in Mathew 24 (Mark 13; Luke 21) promises a Second Coming. This paper argues the events described in the Olivet, as being fulfilled in A.D. 70, and Revelation events are of two distinctly different time periods. This being confirmed through prophetic words of the Old Testament; the Olivet and Revelation take their rightful place in History.
