This study examines the effects that diversity management initiatives and inclusion have on an employee's overall perception of procedural justice. Additionally, this study predicted that minority status would moderate the relationship between diversity management initiatives and procedural justice. An online survey was distributed via email and social media platforms, in which participants were asked to respond to questions pertaining to their workgroups and supervisor engagement. A total of 327 responses were analyzed. The results of the study showed support for the first hypothesis demonstrating a positive correlation between quality diversity management initiatives and sense of inclusion on an employee's perception of procedural justice. The second hypothesis was not supported; however, a supplemental analysis demonstrated that minority status moderated the relationship between inclusion and procedural justice. This study illuminated the importance for leaders of organizations to value and understand the impacts that diversity and inclusion have on employee's sense of belonging within an organization.
