The project director desired to grow in his skill of Christ-centered preaching from the Old Testament due to his deficiency in its practice and its importance for the health of the local church. To achieve this goal, he wrote the first chapter to describe the purpose and rationale of his ministry project. He established the objectives needed to complete the project and provided the ministry context where his project would be implemented. In chapter two, the project director provided the biblical and theological foundations for his ministry project. He selected three New Testament passages that address the christocentric nature of the Old Testament. The project director examined Jesus's use of the Old Testament in John 5:39-40, the apostle Peter's use of the Old Testament in Acts 2:14-36, and the apostle Paul's use of the Old Testament in 2 Timothy 3:14-17. In each passage, the project director provided biblical exegesis, theological implications, and project applications. In chapter three, the project director established the ministerial foundations for his project. The ministry foundations included a survey of christocentric hermeneutics throughout church history and a survey of contemporary approaches to Christ-centered preaching through literary reviews and expert interviews. Chapter three concludes with the project director's definition and methodology of Christ-centered preaching synthesized from his research. In chapter four, the project director described the ministry project process. He explained each stage of the implementation of his ministry project. Chapter four contains information regarding the expert panel and the sermon evaluation panel. In chapter five, the project director analyzed the results of his project. He examined and interpreted the collected data from the sermon evaluation panel. He evaluated the ministerial and professional objects. He reflected upon the strengths, weaknesses, and lessons learned throughout the project process. Finally, he explained the project's impact in his life and ministry.
