The sport industry is a billion-dollar business that continues to grow, and with it, so are sport management degree programs (Stokowski et al., 2022). While these academic programs are growing, the research highlighting them is not. Pedagogical research has examined student satisfaction in many different avenues of academia, but there are few studies pertaining to sport management students and their programs. To address this gap, this study sought to build a foundation for sport management pedagogy by examining student satisfaction factors in relation to gender and instructional platform (face-to-face and online). The researcher utilized an electronic survey to elicit quantitative participation from sport management students at COSMA institutions. The quantitative analysis using MANOVA indicated a significant relationship between two of the three dimensions of student satisfaction, interaction, and overall satisfaction, with face-to-face courses. The responses indicated that students have higher levels of satisfaction relating to interaction and overall satisfaction in face-to-face sport management courses than online.
