Moral failures have plagued mankind from our beginnings and have been found to have significant and adverse effects on military members and their ability to sustain steadfast accountability within the command climate. The purpose of this quantitative correlational research study was to examine if and to what extent, command-level military officers' spiritual intelligence (SQ) and its components are related to their moral potency (MP) in the United States Air Force. Spiritual leadership theory (SLT) and moral foundations theory (MFT) provided the theoretical foundations for this study. The data were collected from volunteer participants actively in the United States Air Force (USAF) and USAF reserve components of the AF Reserve and Air National Guard, considered command-level (Major (04) - Lieutenant Colonel (05). Convenience sampling followed by snowball sampling was utilized and data was collected on personal emails with outreach to contacts on Facebook and LinkedIn. A sample n = 145 was collected from participants agreeing to informed consent and providing demographic information. The volunteers then completed the Moral Potency Questionnaire (MPQ) and the Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24). The findings from Pearson's correlation analysis indicated that the relationships between the variables of spiritual intelligence (SQ) and moral potency (MP) and the components of SQ to MP were statistically significant and rejected the null hypotheses. The correlation for SQ and MP was .622; for CET .454; for PMP .441, for TA .601, and for CSE .444. The study's findings contributed to both theoretical foundations showing that SQ and its components show a positive correlation to MP. Keywords: Spiritual intelligence, moral potency, military command-level officers.
