2014 ile 2019 arasindaki alti yillik donemde, cogunlugu yuksek egitimli 211.000'den fazla kisi, yurtdisinda en cok AB ulkelerde is ve daha iyi yasam kosullari aramak icin Bosna-Hersek'i terk etti.Arastirma sonuclarina gore tahminler, Bosna-Hersek'in 2033 yilina kadar 320.000 nufusu daha kaybedecegini gosteriyor. Bosna-Hersek'in 3,5 milyon civarinda bir nufusa sahip oldugu goz onune alindiginda, bu yuksek vasifli goc egilimi Bosna ekonomisini olumsuz etkilemeye basladi. Bu egilim sadece Bosna ekonomisini degil, Avrupa ve Orta Asya'daki tum gelismekte olan ekonomileri etkiliyor cunku kendi vasifli isciler icin buyuk gelismis ekonomilerle rekabet edemiyorlar. Bosna-Hersek'in cok karmasik tarihi ve Bosna'nin dunyadaki en karmasik yonetim sistemine sahip oldugu gercegi goz onune alindiginda, beyin gocunun neden bu kadar buyuk oldugu ve ulkenin bununla neden bas edemedigi aciktir. Bu tezin konusu beyin gocunun gelismekte olan ulkeler uzerindeki etkileri olacaktir. Aslinda beyin gocunun bircok olumsuz etkileri oldugu kadar, gelismekte olan ulkelerin daha da gelismesine yardimci olabilecek olumlu etkileri de vardir. Gelismekte olan ekonomiler icin beyin gocunun zayifliklarinin ve ozelliklerinin neler oldugunu anlamak ve bu zayifliklari avantaja cevirmeye calismak icin SWOT analizi yapilacaktir.

520 $a In the six years period between 2014 and 2019 more than 211.000 mostly highly educated people left Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking for jobs and better life conditions abroad, most often in EU countries. Projections show that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be without an additional 320.000 inhabitants by 2033. Taking into consideration that Bosnia and Herzegovina has population around 3.5 million people, this high-skilled migration trend started to affect Bosnian economy negatively. This trend is not only affecting Bosnian economy but all developing economies in Europe and Central Asia because they are unable to compete for skilled workers with big developed economies. Having on mind very intricate history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the fact that Bosnia is country with most complex system of governance in the world it is clear why brain drain is this huge and why country is not able to cope with it. The topic of this thesis will be the effects of brain drain on developing countries with main focus on Bosnian economy. There are in fact many negative effects of brain drain but at the same time there are also positive effects that could help developing countries to develop further. SWOT analysis will be done in order to understand what are weaknesses and traits of brain drain for developing economies and to try to turn them into advantages in order to reduce negative effects of brain drain and to prevent further brain drains.
