Horska povodi jsou dulezita pro tvorbu a ochranu vodnich zdroju, ale i z hlediska krajinne ekologie a zachovani biodiverzity. Chranena pramenna oblast Jizerskych hor byla v minulem stoleti zasazena extremni kyselou atmosferickou depozici a naslednou acidifikaci prostredi a intenzivni lesni tezbou stavajicich smrkovych porostu. V soucasne dobe se snizenim depozice siry (a kysele zateze) zde probiha revitalizace pudne-vegetacniho pokryvu a povrchovych vod, ale soucasne se projevuji vlivy globalni klimaticke zmeny, jejiz budouci projevy zavisi na vyvoji emisi sklenikovych plynu.Cilem teto disertace je prispevek k objasneni moznosti bioindikace k detekci zmen povodi a jejich dopadu na hydrologicke prvky, rutinni stanicni observace v uzaverovych profilech povodi, pripadne stanoveni jejich casove prodlevy. Pro popis vodniho prostredi je uvazovan makrozoobentos jako vhodny ukazatel kvality vody a proudeni vody v roku. Stav povodi byl popsan pomoci Ellenbergovych indikacnich hodnot, vychazejicich z zivotniho optima cevnatych rostlin.Oba indikatory (makrozoobentos i Ellenbergovy indikacni hodnoty) se ukazaly jako vhodne pro popis zmen v povodi, ale u obou byla zaznamenana casova prodleva oproti merenym velicinam. V porovnani s vyvojem evapotranspirace byl vyvoj Ellenbergovy indikacni hodnoty vlhkosti zpozden o zhruba 14 let. U makrozoobentosu byla pozorovana casova prodleva zotaveni populace oproti zlepseni kyselosti prostredi asi o 5 let. Pri pouziti techto bioindikacnich metod v podminkach sledovaneho povodi je nutne zmeny sledovat v sirsim kontextu, jelikoz se zde mohou projevovat i jine zmeny prostredi (v pripade makrozoobentosu napriklad extremni povodnove situace a v pripade vegetacniho pokryvu radikalni lesnicke zasahy).

Mountain catchments are very important for their high biodiversity and water resources recharge. The protected headwater region of the Jizera Mountains has been struggling in the last century with the extreme acid atmospheric deposition, acidification of both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and commercial forestry practices (intensive harvest of damaged spruce plantations). Contemporary, this region is affected by the global climate future with future prognoses related to the expected progress in the emissions of greenhouse gases.The aim of this study was a contribution to the exploration of bioindication methods in the detection of changes in hydrological characteristics observed in outlets of investigated catchments. Macrozoobenthos was considered as a suitable indicator to describe water quality and the aquatic environment. The soil-vegetation complex of catchments was analysed by the Ellenberg's indicator values based on the life optimum of vascular plants.Both indicators (macrozoobenthos and Ellenberg's indicator values) proved to be suitable for describing changes in the catchment, but a time delay compared to the measured values was recorded for both. Compared to the evolution of evapotranspiration, the evolution of the Ellenberg moisture indicator value was delayed by about 14 years. For macrozoobenthos, a time delay of about 5 years was observed in the recovery of the population compared to the improvement in environmental acidity. However, the evaluated changes in bioindicators need to be considered in a broader context: for example, in the case of macrozoobenthos, extreme flood events can dramatically change the data, and the vegetation cover can be affected also by the forestry practices.
