While there is plenty of research on the separate concepts of coaching philosophy, program or team organization, and coaching personality, there is a gap in research with regard to a connection between the three. The connection is called Authentic Coaching (AC). The purpose of this study was to examine the possible links between those three concepts and how they relate to successful teams and programs within the specific area of women's collegiate volleyball, and how successful coaches tend to create strong links between these areas. The study was performed following the qualitative method of inquiry using semi-structured interviews which were recorded on Zoom, transcribed using Audext, and then using MAXQDA 2020 software in order to create codes and themes, in order to establish links. Nine in-depth interviews were performed of current and former highly-successful coaches in women's volleyball within the National Collegiate Athletic Association's three divisions.
