This study has practical implications on gaining a better understanding of individual attitudes toward male sex trafficking victims in India. In this multiple regression study, social learning theory was utilized to assess whether gender, religious affiliation, and age were considered to be predictors of negative attitudes (outcome variable) toward male sex trafficking victims. There was one research question that guided this study: Do age, religious affiliation, and gender predict attitudes towards males trafficked for sex in India? One hundred and twenty nine surveys were completed online by participants in India via social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn. The sample population consisted of men and women between the ages of 19 to 62 years of age. The participants in the study were also required to identify their religious affiliation as a Hindu or Christian. The population was selected using a random quota sampling method. Data analysis included descriptive statistics for all three of the predictor variables and each of the 12 survey questions. However, due to the limited number of Christians that participated in the study, religious affiliation could not be tested with the outcome variable. A multiple regression analysis was performed on the data to evaluate whether gender and age were found to be predictors of attitudes toward male sex trafficking victims. The results for Attitudes Toward Ability to Leave Sex Trafficking found that gender was the only predictor variable that was statistically significant for this subscale. The results for Knowledge About Sex found that there was no statistical significance between gender and age and the participants' level of knowledge on the issue of sex trafficking in India. However, due the fact that the assumptions were not met for either subscale, caution was necessary with the interpretation of these results.
