As the core and main drivers of the new innovative era of informatisation advancement and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), the futuristic and advanced accomplishments of artificial intelligence (AI) are rapidly and scientifically penetrating different fields of human dimensions and domains. AI focuses on improving the ability of machines and robots to mimic human intelligence. Although advanced innovations and utilisations of AI have been broadly examined, and factors that influence AI adaptation are distinguished in existing literature, the effect of accomplishment factors on AI adoption remains ambiguous. Consequently, the fundamental research of this study advances a structure to assess the impacts of AI on workforce performance in a South African banking institution. Particularly, this system comprises variables concerning the components that make up AI. The structure is observationally tried with information gathered by studying a particular banking institution in South Africa. This framework includes the factors concerning AI Awareness, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Big Data, Recognition (Voice and Vision), Robotics and Expert Systems, AI Ethical Principles, and Workforce Performance. The framework was empirically assessed, with the data gathered by surveying the banking institution in South Africa. Research methodologies used in this study include quantitative and quantitative techniques. Descriptive and inferential statistics were adopted for data analysis. The outcomes of the study show that all of the factors examined have a significant impact on workforce performance. The study provides support for the banking institution's strategic decision making and increasing the resource allocation to improve workforce performance through AI adoption and adaptation.
