Servant Leadership is serving in order to motivate followers to reach a desired outcome within an organization. In a me-first society, servant leadership can provide an alternative solution to leading high school athletes and developing leaders for the future. This study focused on a servant leader high school head girls' basketball coach and the program that he leads. The head coach and athletes participated in a survey to determine the effectiveness of servant leadership on: enjoyment, success, investment, and preparedness of the program. The results were gathered and analyzed to determine servant leadership as a feasible option in high school athletics. This study confirmed previous studies that servant leadership is a viable leadership method to inspire, lead, and acknowledge the importance of each member of the program.
