The efficiency and effectiveness of any organization can potentially be affected by workplace bullying that can affect the delivery of products and services to customers and stakeholders due to employees not feeling safe at work, job satisfaction and performance decreasing and suffering, or jobs becoming vacant due to employees desire to leave such environment. The problem of the study addressed job satisfaction and intent to leave as they relate to and as the result of the influence of workplace bullying among government civilian employees employed at the Engineering and Support Center. The purpose of this non-experimental quantitative correlational study focused on, examined, and explored the influence of workplace bullying on job satisfaction and intent to leave with government employees. Out of the 103 participates (n = 103), 60 indicated they have not been bullied, 20 indicated they have been bullied but only rarely, 16 were bullied now and then, 5 participates experienced bullying several times a week, and only 2 indicated they were bullied almost daily. The study concluded there was not a statistically significant correlation of employees being bullied, job satisfaction, and intent to leave and not a statistically significant indication that workplace bullying influenced job satisfaction and the intention to leave the job. Future research and recommendations are to expand the geographical focus allowing more participants across the whole government industry, take into account educational levels of potential participants and prior military service as well as expound on why participants wanted to leave their jobs.
