This thesis explores the potential of textile to activate the memory of an abandoned building site while adapting its interior to generate a reimagined spatial fabric. Examined as a formal technique, material assembly, temporal joint, art form, and social practice, weaving will be deployed within an urban environment to foster connectivity between materials, people, time, and space as a tool of social sustainability.
