現代嶺南女作家的文學創作與中國現代文學史的五四新文學、革命文學、左翼文學、抗戰文學及延安文學等各時期的文學主潮基本保持一致。在新文學領域，澳門女作家趙連城、冼玉清；廣府女作家許廣平、草明、吳乃茵、杜君慧；潮汕女作家馮鏗、陳波兒、許心影、陳曙光、陳鳳兮；客家女作家李堅真、李素英，等等，從嶺南邊緣地帶進入北京、上海、武漢、延安等文化中心，融入文學主潮，以嶺南文化獨有的品格和活力，創作了不少優秀的文藝作品，在文學史上具有一定的作用和地位。在文言詩詞領域，趙連城、冼玉清、許心影、張荃等在抗戰時期的愛國詩篇，與同時代嶺南文人饒宗頤等一樣，表現了崇高的中華民族詩魂，在二十世紀詩詞史上産生了一定的影響。現代嶺南女作家的文學創作貫穿一條不斷尋求女性自我解放的創作主線，爲現代文學做出了應有的貢獻，是中國現代文學史版圖中不可或缺的組成部分。.

520 $a The literary creation of modern Lingnan female writers is basically in line withthe main literary trends of the May Fourth New Literature, Revolutionary Literature,Left-wing Literature, Anti-War Literature and Yan'an Literature of various periods inthe history of modern Chinese literature. In the field of new literature, Macau femalewriters Zhao Liancheng and Xian Yuqing;Guangfu female writers Xu Guangping, CaoMing, Wu Naiyin and Du Junhui; Chaoshan female writers Feng Keng, Chen Bo'er,Xu Xinying, Chen Shuguang and Chen Fengxi; Hakka female writers Li Jianzhen andLi Suying, and so on. From the margins of Lingnan, they entered Beijing, Shanghai,Wuhan, Yan'an and other cultural centers and integrated into the main tide of modernliterature, and with the unique character and vitality of Lingnan culture, they createdmany outstanding literary works, which have a certain role and status in literary history.In the field of classical literary poetry, the patriotic poems of Zhao Liancheng, XianYuqing, Xu Xinying, and Zhang Quan during the Anti-War, like those of Rao Zongyi,a contemporary Lingnan literary figure, have expressed the powerful poetic soul of theChinese nation, and have made an impact on the history of poetry in the 20th century.Modern Lingnan female writers runs through a main line of creation that constantlyseeks female's self-liberation, and has made its due contribution to modern literature,and is an indispensable and important part of China's modern literary history.
