Advisor and Professor Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of TheologyVirginia Union UniversityThe practice of Biblical lessons learned by Pastors and other leaders on forgiveness increase the possibilities for reconciliation and restoration between Church leaders. This study works with leaders on the importance of forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration among Church leaders for the community's interest. Leaders who once worshiped together now minister in three different Churches located in Richmond, Virginia. The research participants have forgiven the Former Pastor and will work with him on social justice issues. Project participants were split on total reconciliation and restoration concerning having the Former Pastor preach in the two New Churches. New lessons of forgiveness were learned by Pastors.
