Inappropriate training programs have caused problems in the hospitality entertainment industry. The study is to determine to what extent employee performance differs while performing specific job tasks required for the position. In this study, a quantitative method was the best option for determining employee performance using the Kirkpatrick model. This study depends on employees' experiences from training and performing the job tasks that were trained. By conducting this study, managers and department directors could use the results of the study to improve training within the departments. The study was conducted in a 14,000-capacity entertainment venue, located in Northwest Louisiana. Participants selected for the study were observed interacting with customers for no more than three events. The employee-customer interaction data gathered gave a better understanding of how the training received impacts the employees. Participants selected were employees of the company and over the age of 18. The venue management company requires employees to be at least 18 years old. Over 400 employees are working in the venue between 10 different departments. Different entertainment venues have different, unique training needs based geographical location of the venue. Not all entertainment venues are the same. By conducting research and identifying the training needs in customer service for entertainment venue employees, the research would uncover common problems and where they occur. The findings of the study can be applied to the current training curriculum to enhance the overall design. A chi-squared goodness of fit test was used to determine if there was or was not a significant difference from an 80% success rate in four categories. Based on the findings from the chi-squared goodness of fit test, three of the four research questions rejected the null hypothesis, with only one research questions, failing to reject the null hypothesis.
