The purpose of this quantitative, correlational study was to assess if and to what extent technology tools used for work and life tasks during the work day related to work/life balance, work/life balance satisfaction, or technology-assisted supplemental work (TASW) for Millennials employed full-time in the United States. The researcher tested three research questions and three hypotheses using the 24-item Preference and Purpose scale, 4-item Work/Life Balance measure, 5-item Satisfaction with Work-Life (Work-Family) Balance survey, and the 5-item Technology-Assisted Supplemental Work questionnaire. Data collection occurred in the mid-August 2018 timeframe using a volunteer sample ( N = 85) of Millennial workers employed full-time in the United States. Based on analysis comprised of Spearman's and Pearson's correlation coefficients for technology tools used for work and life tasks during the work day and TASW, rs(83) = .318, p = .003, the results rejected the null hypothesis for RQ3 and the researcher concluded that a statistically significant relationship existed between technology tools used for work and life tasks during the workday and TASW. The results failed to reject the null hypotheses for RQ1 and RQ2 and the researcher deduced that there was no statistically significant relationship between technology tools used for work and life tasks during the workday with work/life balance, rs (83) = -.026, p = .810, or work/life balance satisfaction, r(83) = -.161, p = .142.
