The purpose of this research is to study Taiwanese teachers' views of play approaches in preschool, to understand the teachers' perception of play under their own culture and teacher training, and what decisions or adjustments have been made in their teaching practice related to play. Due to cultural and academic priorities Taiwanese preschool, preschool is not a universally used play approach. Teachers accept the ever-changing teacher training and have different opinions on play, but at the same time, teachers' perceptions of play applications are also influenced by culture, society, and parents. This study explores the views of Taiwanese teachers helps educators to reflect on their teaching, think about how to use their profession to support children's learning and development and to promote schools and society to understand the importance of play concepts to the development of children.
