Womanist theology is a liberation theology in the context of North America which discuss liberative message for African American women who are being oppressed by racism, classism and sexism. As a theology constructed on the life experience of African American women in the North America, it addresses multi-dimensional oppressions for human beings. It is considered as valuable theological anthropology which can bring back all groups of people to the original status of God's creation. The Karen people are the second largest population in Myanmar who are being oppressed under racism of Bamar majority population throughout centuries. To react this oppression for the sake of their liberation, the Karen are now struggling in revolution for seven decades in Myanmar. Because of the oppression and armed revolution, the Karens have suffered under military operation in the Karen land. Womanist theology can be studied on the experience of the Karen people under oppression and civil. In this dissertation, the Karens will learn the method of the struggle of African American women in North America and can brings some meaningful message for the liberation of the entire Karen society.
