The second purpose was to identify the major factors that influence faculty's utilization of the Internet in educational research, and to study the possible relationships among these factors; for example, to investigate the difference between ages, genders, ranks and countries. The third purpose was to make recommendations to educational policy makers regarding implementation of the Internet according to the findings of this study, and to help professors understand and utilize the Internet to improve their educational research.
