This thesis explores the social side of art and how nonprofit organizations are finding new ways to conduct business and attract patrons, visitors, corporate sponsors, and educational opportunities. Through a series of interviews with representatives of various art organizations in Denver, this thesis looks at how artists, patrons of the arts, corporations, for profit and nonprofits, are using the social (rather than economic) side of art to continue to invigorate and gain support, in various forms, for the arts in Denver.
