This quantitative study was based on action research illustrating an issue with real estate professionals' leadership skills and motivation levels. The issues in the organization exemplified the need for employees to utilize transformational leadership skills based upon the literature to solve organizational problems through change-inspired leadership. The variable of intrinsic motivation to achieve was derived from the literature's guidance that employees perform best when intrinsically motivated. Thus, in an effort to ascertain solutions to these organizational issues, this study introduced the variable of exercise to determine if there was a positive, negative, or neutral relationship among the three variables. A quantitative causal-comparative design utilizing chi-square tests of association and descriptive statistics was employed to delineate the relationships between the variables of employees' transformational leadership skills, intrinsic motivation to achieve, and exercise. The findings indicated there was a statistically significant relationship between moderate levels of exercise and high levels of transformational leadership skills and intrinsic motivation to achieve. Recommendations for practice are to increase transformational leadership skills training and develop and implement mechanisms to increase intrinsic motivation to achieve. Exercise should be mandatory and implemented in employees' job descriptions. The analysis in this study provided the guidance for sustaining and improving employees' transformational leadership skills, intrinsic motivation to achieve, and overall well-being in organizations worldwide. Recommendations for future research are to replicate this study with divergent sample populations to enhance the results with more diverse voices from across the full spectrum of a multitude of contrasting organizational occupations and locations.
