In addition, this research investigated the changes in the editorial stance of the Hong Kong press within the transitional period. In the 1992/93 Sino-British conflict, most of the Hong Kong press was manipulated by China to attack Britain. The press was still diverse in its editorial stance, but many have already leaned to the Chinese side. This study also analyzes the causes and implications of this change.
