Thesis (M.A.)--Regent University, 1993.
Boasting a 5,000 year history, China is a country rich in tradition and culture. Hidden within that culture are nuggets of spiritual truth relating to the God of the Bible. These can been seen by examining various aspects of the Chinese culture: the original monotheistic religion of China; the philosophy of the great teacher, Confucius; characters and their construction; New Year traditions; mythology; proverbs and idioms; and stories. They are presented as a means of bridging the gap between the Chinese culture and Christianity. A brief look is than taken at the history of Christian missions on Chinese soil and the implications it has for today.Subjects--Topical Terms:
