The objective of this study is to give readers a better understanding of where graffiti came from and how it has transformed over time. Research within this paper focuses on a variety of cases involving street art, property owners, and the rights which these individual parties possess. The development of the graffiti movement was based on individuality, creativity, and freedom. Consumerism has taken a hold of this art, therefore this paper delves into the issues as well as the benefits of this aspect within urban art. Through intensive investigation, solutions to the problems surrounding street art are addressed.
