This phenomenological study is comprised of a series of unstructured interviews provided by U.S. adults in order to ascertain a description of their experiences related to living with a gluten-related disorder. Seven individuals over the age of 18 were interviewed for the purposes of this study. Participants completed a demographic questionnaire and partook in an unstructured interview in order to express their full experiences living with a gluten-related disorder. The results of this study suggested many factors contribute to how those affected feel about their diagnosis as well as their perceptions of supportive and non-supportive factors in regards to their adherence to a gluten-free diet.
